Brooklyn Flea

 

The Brooklyn Flea‘s flagship location in the Fort Greene neighborhood features 150 vendors every Saturday from April through November. It’s held in a schoolyard at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School where hundreds of people flock each weekend to experience the “part vintage bazaar, part hipster hang, part old-fashioned town square, and part food bonanza.”

I definitely wanted to check it out before it closes for the year next weekend, so I took the 4 train from the Upper East Side all the way to Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn and walked about 15 minutes to the Flea. I had a fun time looking through the eclectic items up for grabs:
