Recipe | Lemon Ricotta Crostini


I should really call this “the easiest hors d’oeuvre.” This recipe is something that requires minimal ingredients and prep time. I served these alongside some Fall sangria when I hosted dinner club last week for some other Darden Partners. And they were gobbled up quickly!

Here’s what you need:
1 French baguette
8 oz. Ricotta cheese
1 lemon

Here’s what you do:
Slice baguette thinly and bake crostinis in the oven at 400 degrees for about 5 minutes to get the warm and crispy. While they are baking, mix the zest of one lemon with the ricotta cheese. Add in a little bit of salt and pepper to taste. Top each crostini with the mixture, then drizzle just a touch of honey on top. Perfection!
